Taking the back and the front skirt block I placed them together on dot and cross paper to form a no side seam skirt.
I then wanted to have one dart on the back panel as I have created a middle dart. Marking out the distance between the two darts I draw a line alone the middle up. Measuring the two darts and diving it by two then adding that number to either side of my middle line gives me the dart.
Cut around the block and join the darts together.
Using the front dart I draw my first swirl then using the middle dart and draw the second through the last dart.
Now my block is ready to be cut.
